MOPS

MOPS believes in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together. The acronym stands for “Mothers of Preschoolers.”  MOPS began in 1973 when a group of moms with young children banded together to share their lives and parenting journeys. Over the past 45 years, MOPS has expanded to include ALL moms. MOPS partners with churches and organizations worldwide to equip and encourage moms in more than 68 countries.

About MOPS at UMCL:
  • Child care provided by volunteers.
  • Moms enjoy time to meet with other moms, share their lives and parenting journeys.
  • Moms benefit from fellowship with other Moms, leaders, and volunteers, and grow as a Mom and parent.
  • The group is led by experienced mothers.

Meeting days and time:
  • This is a new MOPS group that will meet at UMCL
  • Typically groups meet two times per month
  • Days and time will be determined to best serve those attending
