God commands us in Exodus 20:12 to ''honor your father and you mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you. Today across America ... we are honoring fathers. What makes a good father? Dads wear a lot of hats. Among many roles, there is an important role for fathers in the faith life of their children. Faith is the best gift that fathers can give to their children. Fathers are spiritual leaders. A good spiritual leader raises his children in the church, attends worship service regularly, and grows in faith and puts faith in action.
