Two weeks ago, we explored how the church relates to culture. This Friday, a major cultural event will take place everywhere—Halloween’s Trick or Treat. As a community of faith, should we respond to this widespread celebration by avoiding participating because it’s a secular event? The Bible gives us guidance in how to take part, be welcoming, and share the good news that God loves them.
