The faith playoff teaches us that victory is not determined by size, strength, or skill, but by trust in God. While Goliath relied on weapons and armor, David stepped forward in faith, believing that the battle belonged to the Lord. David’s confidence was rooted in his past experience of God’s faithfulness, which empowered him to face his present giant. In our own battles, we are called to set aside false securities, activate our faith, and step forward trusting that God has already prepared the victory.
