Youth Ministry and Social Activities
Through projects and activities our youth have fun and learn a lot about the joy of helping others.

Flower City Workcamp
Flower City Work Camp is an inter-denominational ministry outreach to needy areas in Rochester, NY. Youth from the greater Rochester area come together each spring to rehab homes and work with inner city kids, all in the name of Jesus. Suspended in 2020 and 2021, Flower City Work Camp plans to resume spring 2022.

Souper Bowl of Caring
Souper Bowl of Caring tackles hunger and food insecurity locally by collecting non-perishable food and money to buy food. January 2021 UMCL youth collected over 100 food items to help our local food pantry. In the USA, Tackle Hunger raised over $163 million for local hunger relief.

Kingdom Bound
Attending Kingdom Bound at Six Flages Darien Lake, NY is an activity that is both fun, as well as an opportunity to build Christian faith. Not only is time allowed for the rides, but there are Christian bands and speakers. Suspended in 2020 and 2021, Kingdom Bound hopes to reschedule in 2022.
