Youth Ministry and Social Activities
Through projects and activities our youth have fun and learn a lot about the joy of helping others.

Flower City Workcamp
Flower City Work Camp is an inter-denominational ministry outreach to needy areas in Rochester, NY. Youth from the greater Rochester area come together each spring to rehab homes and work with inner city kids, all in the name of Jesus.

Souper Bowl of Caring
Souper Bowl of Caring tackles hunger and food insecurity locally by collecting non-perishable food and money to buy food. The UMCL youth typically collect over 100 food items to help our local food pantry. In the USA, Tackle Hunger raised over $163 million for local hunger relief.

Kingdom Bound
Attending Kingdom Bound at Six Flages Darien Lake, NY is an activity that is both fun, as well as an opportunity to build Christian faith. Not only is time allowed for the rides, but there are Christian bands and speakers.
Thank You - Victoria and Theo

Energetic and fun to be around describes Theo and Victoria Camara, UMCL Youth Group Leaders at the last couple of years. Both Theo and Victoria graduated with degrees in Christian Ministries, with dual concentrations in Congregational and Youth Ministries
UMCL has been blessed to have had Victoria and Theo ministering to the children and youth. In mid-June they will be relocating to the Boston area to positions on their career path.
We thank Victoria and Theo for sharing their lives, their energy and knowledge, and their desire to minister to the children and youth in the Livonia area. We wish them the very best with this transition in their lives.
